Switch IP has added Procall SDSL to its InPurple product portfolio. Leveraging its existing investment
into its unique core infrastructure, InPurple Procall can deliver true, synchronous leased line performance over SDSL.
The fully managed MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) WAN service is built to the same exacting
specifications as InPurple’s hugely successful Premiercall product, the first secure Broadband product
to deliver Quality of Service for voice, data and video. Premiercall has an SLA guaranteeing zero packet
loss and VOIP (voice over IP) quality anywhere in a BT ADSL area in the UK. But there is no 256k limitation
on upstream bandwidth on SDSL, making Procall even more powerful.
The service is available between any number of connections anywhere in the UK where SDSL is enabled in
the local BT exchange. InPurple Procall can be used to replace either single, point to point leased lines
or fully meshed multiple site frame relay and leased line infrastructure, and is initially offered in
512k, 1Mb and 2Mb symmetric options. The service is fully managed and costs include the supply, installation
and maintenance of a managed Cisco CPE router, which can be enabled for VOIP.
SwitchIP can provide SDSL service in all major metropolitan areas.
