Switch Communications won a contract to install a new multi-campus communications solution and, in doing so, fought off fierce competition from Avaya, Intertel, NEC, Ascom, Phillips and Mitel. By listening carefully to the customer and satisfying the criteria that had been set, Switch Communications was able to craft a package that overcame the obstacles that had previously stood in the way of achieving smooth performance and comms delivery.

The company’s resounding victory was also won on best price, political account strategy and best delivery – in combination with worldwide support and service. Although Telewest and Cisco were also involved in the project, it was Switch Communications that coordinated and project managed the installation – under the capable direction of Andrew Terry, who had the support of extremely able and knowledgeable staff.
